Community Guidelines

RestartCrew is a supportive community for people affected by AI-driven job disruption. These guidelines help us keep it that way. We ask every member — whether anonymous or public — to treat this space with the care it deserves.

1. No mocking job loss

Losing your livelihood is devastating. Dismissive comments, jokes about layoffs, or "just learn to code" rhetoric are not welcome here.

2. No doxxing

Respect every member's choice of identity. Never reveal, speculate about, or attempt to uncover someone's real identity if they have chosen to be anonymous.

3. No harassment

Personal attacks, bullying, threats, intimidation, and sustained negative targeting of any individual are strictly prohibited.

4. No recruiting spam

This is a peer-support community, not a job board. Unsolicited recruitment pitches, MLM offers, and promotional content will be removed.

5. No partisan flamebait

Political debates about AI policy are fine. Partisan attacks, culture-war provocations, and inflammatory takes designed to divide are not.

6. No nihilism spam about human worth

We understand the fear and frustration. But persistent messaging that humans are worthless, that resistance is futile, or that there is no hope undermines the community's purpose.

7. Critique systems, not people

You can criticize companies, policies, and technologies. Direct your frustration at structures and decisions, not at individual people or fellow community members.
